The White Mountains Regional High School is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the 7th Annual Brookie’s Challenge 5K Run/Walk/Brunch to benefit the Brooke Ramsdell Scholarship Fund. The Brooke Ramsdell Scholarship Fund awards annual scholarship(s) to a WMRHS student athlete who exemplifies excellence, leadership in the athletic realm and assists in building a positive school climate at WMRHS.
Brooke Ramsdell who lost her courageous battle with cancer was an active member of our community and was loved by everyone that was lucky enough to meet her. She was an outstanding athlete and a motivated member of the graduating class of 2011. Brookie’s Challenge was originally formed in 2013 and has become an annual event for the community to honor Brooke’s life.
We are so excited to be hosting this event on the trails at White Mountains Regional High School on Sunday, May 12, 2019. This will be a timed event and prizes will be awarded to the top runners. We will have music and a meal for all participants, as well as meal tickets for purchase for the public. The first heat will start at 10:00 a.m. and registration will begin at 9 a.m.
We are looking for participants as well as business sponsorships for this event.
